WHAT IS DELTA 8 THC?
Delta 8 THC is short for for delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol or Δ-8-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ-8-THC). A compound produced by cannabis, Delta 9 remains the most well-known, well-studied cannabinoid. Although it is just one of more than 400 different active materials that can be found in the cannabis plant, it is the most highly sought after.
Delta-10 is a cannabinoid found in trace amounts in the cannabis plant. Like regular THC—delta-9—it can get you high, but it is less potent than delta-9. This makes it similar to delta-8, another cannabinoid that is less potent than regular THC.
WHAT IS THC-O?
THCO is an acetylated form of THC that only activates after it’s processed by your digestive system. THCO is an acetate ester of THC, which means it has gone through a process called acetylation. In most substances, acetylation causes a massive potency increase, but in the case of THC, potency is only increased around 3 times since cannabinoids already bond with fats extremely well.
WHAT IS HHC?
HHC was first created in 1944 by the American chemist Roger Adams, when he added hydrogen molecules to Delta-9 THC. This process, known as hydrogenation, converts THC to hexahydrocannabinol (HHC). HHC is known as "the most stable form of THC" due to its longer shelf-life and resistance to heat. The effects of HHC are also similar to those of THC. When you compare HHC vs THC, there are a lot of similarities, including their structures and their effects. This similar chemical structure results in very similar effects when consumed.
WHAT IS DELTA 9 THC?
Delta 9 THC is short for for delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol or Δ-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ-9-THC). A compound produced by cannabis, Delta 9 remains the most well-known, well-studied cannabinoid. Although it is just one of more than 400 different active materials that can be found in the cannabis plant, it is the most highly sought after.
